On April 25th 1794, the brave inhabitants of Pollinkhove fighted to the French invader. On April 25th 1999 this monument was set up in memorial of the 12 inhabitants who fell in battle. The outline is a wink to the entrenchment build for the fight, a construction of branches and mat-plaiting.
