The half-timbered farm dates back to the 17th century. This architectural style, timber-work on sleepers, was applied in our region since the 11th - 12th century. By pressure of the construction with bricks, this architectural style faded away. The barn and the sheepfold were moved from Izegem and Kortrijk by the same method that’s applied in Bokrijk.
